Introduction
For scalpers, news traders and anyone running expert advisors, execution speed and quality decide the outcome as much as the spread does. The brokers that deliver it route orders straight to liquidity providers through ECN or no-dealing-desk models, host servers close to the major exchanges and publish their fill statistics. We reviewed the brokers on FXCOINZ and picked seven whose execution model and pricing are built for speed. Each entry links to our full review.
How to Choose the Best Fast Execution Broker?
Look past the word ECN. Ask where the broker's servers are (Equinix NY4 or LD4 is the standard), whether it publishes execution speed and fill rates, whether it allows scalping and EAs without restriction, and how spreads behave during news. Then match the platform to your method: cTrader and MetaTrader for automation, TradingView for chart execution. If you run a VPS, choose a broker whose servers sit in the same data centre.
What Fees Should You Be Aware of?
Fast-execution accounts are almost always raw spread plus commission, typically around $3 per lot per side, so compare the combined cost, not the spread alone. Slippage is a cost too: a broker with a slightly wider spread but better fills can be cheaper in practice. Add overnight financing for held positions and the inactivity fee most of these brokers charge.
How to Verify if a Broker is Regulated?
Confirm the entity that holds your account on the ASIC, FCA, CySEC or FINMA register using the licence number from the broker's legal page. Several ECN brokers also run offshore entities with higher leverage; execution may be identical, but the protections are not.
What are the Benefits of Fast Execution?
Less slippage on entries and exits, fewer requotes and rejections, tighter effective spreads, reliable fills during news and volatility, and the ability to run scalping and high-frequency strategies that slower brokers block or degrade.
What to Avoid?
Avoid brokers that advertise ECN but restrict scalping, widen spreads sharply during news, or refuse to publish execution statistics. Be wary of market-maker accounts marketed as raw, and of any broker that requotes frequently on a demo, since live conditions are rarely better.
What is Fast Execution in Forex?
Execution speed is the time between sending an order and its fill at the liquidity provider, measured in milliseconds; execution quality is how close the fill is to the requested price. ECN and no-dealing-desk brokers pass orders straight through to liquidity providers instead of taking the other side, which, combined with servers near the venues, gives faster fills and less slippage.
