Gelephu Mindfulness City in southern Bhutan has awarded Toronto-based 3iQ a mandate to manage part of its bitcoin treasury through a low-risk, market-neutral strategy. The move marks a shift from simply holding bitcoin as a long-term development asset, while questions remain over the mandate’s size and the source of the coins.
