Coinbase has launched tokenized U.S. stocks on its Base blockchain, beginning with Apple, Nvidia, Meta and Alphabet for eligible investors outside the U.S. The move adds Coinbase to a fast-growing race among crypto exchanges and market operators to bring equities onto blockchain rails.

Coinbase is building an international tokenization hub in Abu Dhabi after receiving permission from the Abu Dhabi Global Market regulator. The move gives the exchange a regulated base to offer tokenized securities backed by underlying shares outside the U.S.

Binance has launched European style options tied to gold and silver through its ADGM regulated Nest Exchange, with settlement in USDT. The move follows strong demand for its metals perpetual futures, including peak daily volumes of $7.77 billion for gold and $7.27 billion for silver.

International investigators say Binance’s revised process for many foreign law enforcement requests is slowing efforts to trace scammers, combat money laundering and freeze stolen crypto. The exchange says it has not reduced cooperation and describes the policy as a stronger control framework aligned with regulated institutions.
