Thailand’s securities regulator has filed a criminal complaint against Bitget’s operator, alleging the platform served Thai users without a license from 2022 to 2025. The planned website and app block arrives just days after a Bitget-linked buyer is due to take over licensed local exchange GMO-Z, pending regulatory approval.
