Binance has introduced BTC Yield, a product inside Binance Earn that lets bitcoin holders pursue income through a systematic covered call strategy. The product keeps balances denominated in BTC but carries important trade-offs, including fees, no principal protection and potentially reduced upside in strong rallies.

BlackRock has launched its iShares Bitcoin Premium Income ETF, a new product aimed at investors who want bitcoin exposure plus monthly income. The fund uses a covered call strategy and is positioned as a complement to the firm’s popular IBIT trust.
