XRP holders can now borrow Ripple’s RLUSD stablecoin against wrapped XRP on Ethereum without selling their underlying exposure. The new isolated Morpho Blue market is managed by Sentora and sits within a lending pool valued at $280 million.

Weather risk is growing while traditional weather derivatives remain small, fragmented and largely closed to the people most exposed. Tokenization could bring automated payouts, clearer pricing and broader access to climate-risk hedging if reliable weather data can move onchain.
