A new nonprofit, Ethereum Institutional, has launched to help banks, asset managers and enterprises evaluate Ethereum for tokenization and stablecoins. The move arrives as the Ethereum Foundation narrows its focus to the core protocol.

Five former Ethereum Foundation researchers have launched Ethlabs, an independent nonprofit aimed at supporting Ethereum development. The initiative is backed by SharpLink, Bitmine and Consensys CEO Joe Lubin, signaling a broader push beyond the Ethereum Foundation.
