CoinDCX says it absorbed a $15.99 million USDT loss after deposits continued to reach deprecated wallet addresses tied to old operational infrastructure. The Mumbai-based crypto exchange says customer balances, active wallets and trading systems were not affected.

CoinDCX says its active wallets were not compromised after on-chain analysts flagged about $16 million in suspicious outflows from addresses linked to the Indian exchange. The company says the activity involved deprecated addresses tied to a July 2025 incident, while investigators have questioned whether at least one address remained active into 2026.
