DATA, the a16z crypto-backed startup formerly known as Story Protocol, is shutting down its own blockchain and migrating to Sui after a $30 million investment from Sui Foundation. The company is narrowing its focus to Trace, a registry designed to verify the origins, consent terms and licensing history of AI training data.
