Velocity has added $10 million to its Series A with backing from Visa Ventures, Circle Ventures, Haun Ventures and Ripple. The London-based payments infrastructure firm is now valued at $200 million as it builds stablecoin rails for settlement, liquidity and treasury operations.

Erebor Bank is in advanced talks to raise about $1.5 billion in fresh capital at a valuation of about $9.5 billion. The bank’s deposits climbed from $1.1 billion at the end of March to $4.6 billion by the end of July as it expanded services for crypto, artificial intelligence and defense-linked clients.
