A Bitcoin wallet inactive for eight years has moved 5,908 BTC, now worth about $383 million, to a fresh unidentified address. The transfer did not go to an exchange, leaving market participants focused on whether the move reflects custody changes, estate planning, or preparation for an over-the-counter transaction.

Bitcoin’s latest cycle has delivered far smaller returns per dollar of new money than earlier bull markets, underscoring how much the asset has matured. Market participants say another parabolic advance may require more than $1 trillion in fresh institutional capital, a threshold that remains uncertain as ETF flows weaken.

Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong said his instinct is that Bitcoin likely bottomed near $60,000, while stressing that no one can know for sure. He still expects the asset to trade much higher by 2030 despite the latest pullback.
