Tokenized funds are increasingly being framed as tools for institutional balance sheet management rather than simply vehicles for always-on trading. The use case could help pensions, insurers and companies manage cash across accounts, jurisdictions and liquidity needs more efficiently.

Ondo Finance has launched what it says is the first implementation of the SEC’s third-party custodial tokenization model. The rollout begins with BlackRock’s IVV ETF and Micron shares under a U.S. market framework.
