XRP Ledger version 3.3.0 introduces a proposed Confidential Transfers amendment designed to encrypt balances and payment amounts for certain tokenized assets. The upgrade is aimed at institutional real-world asset issuers, though it still needs sustained validator support before activation.

The XRP Ledger’s expected xrpld 3.3.0 release will ask validators to review five proposed amendments, including revised versions of Batch and Permission Delegation. Both features were previously pulled after researchers identified flaws that could have enabled unauthorized transactions or fee draining.
