Zero Knowledge Proofs

The XRP Ledger’s expected xrpld 3.3.0 release will ask validators to review five proposed amendments, including revised versions of Batch and Permission Delegation. Both features were previously pulled after researchers identified flaws that could have enabled unauthorized transactions or fee draining.

Autonomous AI agents are intensifying the internet’s trust crisis as synthetic media, opaque decision-making and machine-speed transactions outpace traditional oversight. Zero-knowledge proofs are gaining attention as a cryptographic way to verify identity, provenance and authorization without exposing private data.

Project Eleven says a new zero-knowledge proof system could let wallet owners prove control of quantum-vulnerable bitcoin without exposing seed material. The approach may support a recovery path under BIP-361, but it does not cover Satoshi-era coins generated before modern wallet derivation existed.
