Blockchain Governance

The Ethereum Foundation has released a new policy guide aimed at governments and institutions. The report argues Ethereum’s decentralized design makes it suitable as neutral digital infrastructure for identity, records and tokenization.

A new Ethereum governance proposal would let validators direct part of their staking rewards to ecosystem infrastructure and public goods. If approved by a majority, the contribution could become mandatory for all validators.
