Hyperliquid is preparing an enhancement to its HIP-4 upgrade that would allow permissionless deployment of prediction markets on the decentralized exchange. The feature is slated to reach testnet before mainnet, while deployers would need to stake HYPE and operate within validator-approved templates.

Ethereum Foundation developers used coordinated AI agents to probe the network’s gossipsub messaging layer and identified a remotely triggerable crash vulnerability that could take validator nodes offline. The work also highlighted a major challenge for blockchain security teams: AI can produce convincing bug reports that still require rigorous human validation.

XRP Ledger’s v3.2.0 server software has cleared a key validator-support threshold, signaling meaningful progress for the network upgrade. Wider node adoption remains behind the older v3.1.3 version, while the related fixCleanup3_2_0 amendment is still moving through a slower on-ledger vote.

A new Ethereum governance proposal would let validators direct part of their staking rewards to ecosystem infrastructure and public goods. If approved by a majority, the contribution could become mandatory for all validators.

Bittensor’s Root Reborn proposal aims to change how TAO stakers receive yield by shifting validators into active allocation roles across AI subnets. The code is still under review for testnet use, with fixes already made after automated checks flagged issues.
