eToro’s crypto business swung into loss in the second quarter of 2026 as cryptoasset revenue declined and trading activity cooled sharply. The platform still beat adjusted earnings expectations, grew funded accounts, and agreed to acquire U.S. brokerage TradeZero for up to $231 million.

eToro has joined a $12.5 million funding round for Extended, an onchain derivatives platform led by Revolut’s former crypto chief. The broker also plans to bring perpetual futures into Zengo wallet as it broadens its DeFi strategy.
