Bank Leumi plans to offer bitcoin, ether and solana trading directly through its Leumi Trade app from early 2027. Galaxy will provide the trading and custody infrastructure for the service, positioning Leumi as the first Israeli bank to announce direct digital asset trading for customers.

Galaxy Digital shares moved lower in pre-market trading after the company reported a narrower quarterly loss but revenue that missed expectations. Investors also focused on the Helios data-center business, which generated revenue for the first time but did not announce a new customer or lease.

Galaxy Digital has launched a $5 million initiative aimed at helping Bitcoin developers prepare for future quantum-computing threats. The program will fund work on quantum-resistant signatures, wallet migration tools and security audits as the industry weighs long-term risks to blockchain cryptography.
