OKX has attracted fresh investment from Circle, Ripple, QRT and Standard Chartered’s SC Ventures at a $25 billion pre-money valuation. The move strengthens its effort to evolve beyond crypto trading into payments, stablecoins and tokenized traditional assets.

OKX and Intercontinental Exchange are preparing a blockchain-based venue that could bring major U.S. equities including Nvidia, Tesla and Apple into tokenized markets. The planned structure would use stablecoins, one-for-one share backing and automated liquidity pools instead of a traditional order book.

OKXICE has notified the SEC of plans to launch a regulated tokenized stock trading venue in the United States. The proposed platform would begin with more than 60 U.S.-listed companies and preserve shareholder rights such as dividends and voting.

Cboe and S&P Dow Jones Indices have extended their exclusive S&P 500 options licensing agreement through 2051. The expanded relationship leaves room for future collaboration on tokenized options, though no product launch or timeline has been announced.

Payward is widening its xStocks framework beyond U.S. equities with plans to add Hong Kong-listed shares and later U.K., European and South Korean stocks, pending regulatory approvals. The move intensifies the race to bring global stock markets onchain as tokenized securities gain momentum across crypto and traditional finance.
